Portée et contenu

Fonds represents the collecting interests of Morris Norman. Of note are documentary art, photographic, philatelic, cartographic, and textual materials relating predominantly to the Prime Ministers of Canada and to Canadian politics in general. An accrual made in 2002 added significant Dionne quintuplets archival material and includes three-dimensional objects and advertising items. Also acquired was a substantial group of posters relating to financial institutions, travel, the Second World War, and cultural events. The fonds has been arranged in two series: art, photographic and philatelic material; and textual records.
